Power is Back

The power is finally back. Everything is up and running as normal.

We had a major storm that knocked out the power last night and, at the time of this post, the power is still down. Hopefully it will be back soon.

Default Mobile Bookmarks

When a new account is created it is now populated with a default set of mobile bookmarks. These bookmarks will serve as a good starting point for surfing the mobile web.

Mobilfier Update

The mobilfier has been updated to pass through content already formatted for the mobile phone. A simple "Save to Mobleo" link, as well as a "My bookmarks" link,  now appear at the bottom of these pages. Basically now you can surf the mobile net using mobleo and you and bookmark just about everything directly from the page you are on as you surf. More updates are in the works.

New Code Release

Last night I released some new code. Bookmarks can be now added, edited, arranged, and deleted from your mobile phone. In other words you no longer need a desktop computer to manage your bookmarks, you can manage them directly from your phone.

The new interface is modal and there are four modes, surf, edit, arrange, and delete. You enter a mode by selecting from the menu at the top of the screen. Once you have selected a mode the interface will remain in that mode until another mode is selected.

Here is a brief description of the modes...

• Surf mode - For surfing the net using your bookmarks. This mode is used most often and is the default mode.
• Edit mode - For editing and adding new bookmarks.
• Arrange mode - For ordering bookmarks in a tag.
• Delete mode - For permanently removing bookmarks and tags.

Hopefully the new interface will not require any detailed explanation to use.  I am excited to hear opinions of others on the new interface so that I can make improvements where needed.
