Well I finally have some time to get a blog up and running. Between family and my day job there really isn't as much time as I would like for side projects.
Let me start off by introducing myself...my name is Tom Boilard I am the founder/developer/sole employee of Mobleo.net. Mobleo.net was beta launched at the end of August and many of you have been contacting me with comments, new feature requests, bug reports, etc. so I figured I would get a blog up and running. Seems like standard practice today anyway.
The idea for Mobleo.net came while I as at my day job as a programmer for a leading mobile phone music company. Since I am constantly accessing an ever changing list of bookmarks for testing and development purposes from my mobile phone I needed a tool that would make managing these bookmarks easy. And so the seeds of Mobleo.net were sown.
Originally Mobleo.net was just going to be a simple tool that allowed someone to manage their mobile phone bookmarks from their desktop computer but the idea has grown. I have added the ability to share bookmarks with friends, released Mobilfier which, in a nutshell, reformats a websites HTML to better fit the small UI on a mobile phone (With the addition of the Mobilfier technology you can now bookmark/tag a page as you are viewing it). Also you can now access your del.icio.us bookmarks.
I still have many ideas in my head that I will be implementing over the next several months and I am hoping to see comments (positive or negative), feature requests, etc. from you so I develop the features that you would like to see. Please feel free to contact me if you have anything to say.
In my next post I will talk a bit about the hardware and software behind Mobleo.net but until then have a great day!

... Mobleo, which was created entirely by developer, Tom Boilard in his spare time is more attractive and polished than the sites of many well-funded startups. It's a great showcase for the mobile social bookmarking concept...
